The Department of Shalya Tantra is one of the most important clinical branches of Ayurveda dealing with surgical and para-surgical management of diseases. The department imparts theoretical knowledge and practical training in Ayurvedic surgery, Kshara Karma, Agni Karma and other specialised procedures. Students gain extensive clinical exposure through OPD, IPD and operation theatre postings.
